One of the the most important trail tools is a CB radio.   Most organized trail runs require one!    So you've visited your area CB shop or truck stop, you've dropped a few hard earned bucks on a sweet set with weather bands and everything, Nice!    Now what, you have no idea where to mount it.   The single best place to mount a radio in a Wrangler is up above your head.   There are a few  well advertised overhead mounting systems available but they are bulky and expensive.

This overhead console is priced well below the overhead console competition.   The unit is simple to install.   It attaches to the windshield frame at the footman loop and over the center roll bar using a strap.   Extra bolts are included if you feel the need to make it more secure.   It came to our door black wrinkle powder coated and ready to install!

Mounted in a YJ.

The CB wiring is contained inside the console and runs through the unit down the inside of the roll bar padding or zip tied to the roll bar then down neatly under the carpeting or along the inside of the body to make your ground, power and antennae connections.

Conclusion:   It's light weight, very durable, affordable, functional, well made, simple to install, no drilling is required and it's inexpensive!  On the down side it does not keep your CB or anything else mounted on it safe from prying eyes.
